New Immigrants to North Dakota

Despite a wholesale staff turnover earlier this year at Lutheran Social Services’ New American Services office in Grand Forks, the new resettlement coordinator said the nonprofit agency will be prepared to ease the arrival of 80 to 100 more refugees in the coming year.  The majority of these immigrants will be of the Islamic faith.  This will make a positive contribution to the diversity in the state, and will make for a stronger Muslim community here.  Mashalla!
